Katy Lanz
Katy Lanz, DNP, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, ACHPN, FPCN has served as an advisor of Hospi Corporation since August 2021. She is also a senior advisor to Dollar General and other growing companies. Her firm, TopSight Partners, is a clinical strategy and design advisory partner that supports multi-stage organizations hoping to create, evolve, and scale clinical services.
Katy served Personal Care Medical Associates (PCMA) as Chief Strategy Officer and Aspire Health as Chief Clinical Officer from start-up through the Anthem/Elevance acquisition.
The first decade of Katy’s career was spent at the bedside of the seriously ill. She is a nationally awarded clinical expert, mentor, and fellow in palliative care. She is also triple board certified and trained in leadership/business through Vanderbilt’s Inaugural DNP program and through Duke’s Leadership Fellowship.
Katy has led two demonstrations and contracts with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) and presently serves on the board of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO).
Jana Lightfoot
Previously, she served as Chief Strategy Officer of CareCycle Management, where she helped advance the mission to reduce preventable hospitalizations of the chronically ill through the nation’s largest and award-winning Remote Patient Management implementation. Prior to that, Jana served as Vice President of Market Strategy at Encompass Home Health and Hospice executing a multi-state acquisition expansion and growth strategy.
Jana has been working in technology and healthcare for 30 years, developing expertise that facilitates organizational vision, operational excellence, integrated companies, leadership and team development, growth, and nationally ranked branding and culture.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mass Communications with a focus on PR/Advertising/Journalism from Oklahoma Christian University.
Tom Maxwell
Tom is the Chairman and a co-founder of Maxwell Healthcare Associates–a business consulting firm specialized in home health and hospice. He also serves as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board at Medalogix, as Chief Executive Officer at Maxwell Investment Partners, and as a strategic advisor and investor at Trella Health.
Tom is also an Operating Partner with the Vistria Group and serves on many home health and hospice focused boards. Previously, Tom played pivotal roles at Homecare Homebase (HCHB) as COO and CSO. Under his guidance, HCHB’s Electronic Medical Record system became an industry leader.
Tom began his healthcare career by serving his country as a United States Navy Hospital Corpsman with the Fleet Marine Force (FMF). He was awarded two Navy Commendation Medals, three Navy Achievement Medals, one Army Achievement Medal, and the National Defense Medal. Tom received a degree in Management Information Systems with Special Recognition from Park University.
Dr. Andrew Mayo
Dr. Andrew Mayo has served as an advisor of Hospi Corporation since August 2023.
Dr. Mayo was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by his family’s long history of dedication to community healthcare and innovation. After completing his family practice residency at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, Dr. Mayo spent 17 years practicing in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin with an emphasis in geriatrics.
Dr. Mayo has served on clinical and hospital leadership boards. He also served as Medical Director for Luck United Pioneer Home and for Frederic Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
In 2014, Dr. Mayo joined St. Croix Hospice as an Associate Medical Director, where he is now Chief Medical Officer. In 2023 he was recognized as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s “110 CMOs to Know.”
Dr. Mayo received his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and went on to study medicine at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Dr. Mayo continues to pursue additional medical training and holds Hospice Medical Director Certification.
Matt McMurphy
Matt McMurphy has served as an advisor of Hospi Corporation since August 2023. He is President/CEO of Reliant at Home in Texas, serves as an active board member at Acacia Health in California, and is a founder and partner at Lakewood Healthcare Capital.
Matt has vast operational and M&A experience. He has closed more than 40 acquisitions in his career. Matt is an advisory partner at Broadgate Capital and has served in leadership roles at Encompass Home Health & Hospice and Radiant Healthcare Services, where he performed various executive-level functions including operations, strategy, acquisition, integration, and business development.
Matt started his career as a transactional attorney focused on M&A and private equity representation. He earned his JD from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Policy Analysis (Economics and Government) from Cornell University.
